Experience:
• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.
• Experience with Cerner is preferred.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Local & travel allowed.
• No current placement allowed at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - Humboldt General Hospital.

Preferred Skills/Experience: - Pediatric, adult, and NICU experience preferred.
Unit Details: - Covers inpatient, outpatient, ER, floor, ICU, and OB; may assist with cardiac and pulmonary rehab as needed. - Cares for all patient populations and attends high-risk deliveries and C-sections; no NICU on site. - Performs ABGs, EKGs, PFTs, stress tests, and breathing treatments. - Assists the MD with intubation and may work toward doing so independently. - Day shift may at times be the only RT in house; night shift is the only RT each shift. - Uses Hamilton C1 vents, Philips Respironics V60 BiPAPs, Vapotherm, and Airvo. - Hospitalist or intensivist in house 24/7.
Shift & Scheduling: - Weekend requirements as scheduled. - Holiday requirements as scheduled; seniority and requests considered. - No call.
14 days maximum time off
1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 12 months
Proof of identification required
Certifications:
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) or the alternative certification CRT
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program – 8th Edition)
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
