Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• Travel experience is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <80 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• 6 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - Marshfield Clinic Health System and no current placement allowed at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - Marshfield Clinic Health System.

Additional Details:

References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you’re applying to.

Resume: Each employment history entry must include all the following: detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, teaching facility.

Required Skills/Experience: Must have experience with responding to RRT and codes - code blues, c-sections, conscious sedations. Must be comfortable being the only RT in house.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Intubation experience with physician in the room preferred, if able.

Special Requests: Must take full 6 months off from any Sanford Health or Good Samaritan Society location as well. Must disclose previous employment on your resume or elsewhere within the submission for a DNU check. Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained. Previous Marshfield workers must have an end date 6 months prior to submission.

Unit Details: Mostly adult patients; peds in ER with more rare admission, OB deliveries, critical babies. Covers ER, inpatient, outpatient testing, and off-site areas. Set up and manage vents, BiPAP, CPAP, high flow, ABG, nebs, conscious sedation, end tidal CO2. Uses Drager vents, Phillips BiPAP/CPAP V60s, Arivo high flow, and Hamilton in the future. Hospitalist during the day, telemed at night, and an ER doctor is in house 24/7 and responds to codes.

Shift & Scheduling: Day/Night Rotate. Every other weekend. Holidays worked if they fall on a scheduled day. No call.

Floating Requirements: Within the hospital.

7 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 12 months

1 reference required from within the last 3 years

Driver’s license required for submission

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist)

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)

• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program – 8th Edition)
