Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• Travel experience is preferred.

• Experience with Cerner is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <80 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• 6 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - Marshfield Clinic Health System and no current placement allowed at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - Marshfield Clinic Health System.

Additional Details:

References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you’re applying to. Resume: Each employment history entry must include all the following: detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, teaching facility.

Required Skills/Experience: Experience responding to rapid response calls and codes, including code blues, c-sections, and conscious sedations. Must be comfortable being the only RT in house.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Intubation experience preferred; intubation is performed with a physician in the room.

Special Requests: Must take a full 6 months off from any Sanford Health or Good Samaritan Society location. Must disclose previous employment on your resume or elsewhere within the submission for a DNU check. Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained. Travel pairs accepted. If the clinician has previously worked for Marshfield, the end date must be at least 6 months prior to submission. Must note in submission if the clinician has ever worked for Marshfield.

Unit Details: Mostly adult patients, with rare pediatric ER admissions, OB deliveries, and critical newborns. Covers ER, inpatient floors, OR, ACU, outpatient testing, and off-site areas. Sets up and manages vents, BiPAP, CPAP, high flow, ABGs, nebulizers, conscious sedation, and end tidal CO2. Uses Drager vents, Phillips BiPAP/CPAP V60s, Airvo high flow, and Hamilton ventilators. Hospitalist during the day, telemedicine at night, and ER physician in house 24/7 to respond to codes.

Shift & Scheduling: Days/Nights Manager makes the schedule and may group shifts when possible for set days or nights; 7 start. Every other weekend. Works holidays that fall on scheduled days. No call.

Floating Requirements: Within the hospital.

7 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 12 months

1 reference required from within the last 3 years

Driver’s license required for submission

• RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist)

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program – 8th Edition)

• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
