Shift: 11:00 AM - 11:30 PM
Experience:
• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a license (required after submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.
• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - St. Luke’s Health System and no current placement allowed at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - St. Luke’s Health System.

Required Skills/Experience: - Must be able to care for adult, pediatric, and NICU patients.
Preferred Skills/Experience: - Level II NICU experience preferred. - Comfortable going to deliveries and initiating CPAP preferred.
Special Requests: - Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained. - Previous employees may be considered only as a one-off exception with approval from St. Luke’s Health System. - Manager wants RTO ahead of time.
Unit Details: - Covers ER and inpatient respiratory care across all floors. - Patient populations include Level IIB NICU, MICU, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients. - Duties include ABGs (radial or brachial), respiratory treatments, respiratory equipment management, PACU treatments, and overnight oximetry. - Pediatric ER patients are stabilized and transferred out. - RTs assist with intubations rather than intubating independently. - Intensivists, hospitalists, and anesthesia are in house 24/7; eICU coverage at night. - Uses EPIC. - Equipment includes Drager V500, Hamilton, ReVel, V60s, Vapotherm, and EPOC.
Shift & Scheduling: - Weekends as needed. - Self-scheduling; travelers sign up last, must stay flexible to fill gaps in permanent staff, and may be asked to trade with staff or rotate between shifts. - May be asked to participate in the holiday rotation. - Optional call; 30 mins response time.
Floating Requirements: - First to float. - Must be comfortable floating between ICU, MICU, MS-Tele, ER, and other specialties. - Can float throughout the hospital and to sister facilities including Nampa (14 miles to the west) and Boise (10 miles to the east). - May be asked to float mid-shift with a minimum of 60 mins heads-up prior to the shift.
14 days maximum time off
1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 3 years
Driver’s license required for submission
Certifications:
