Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
Experience:
• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.
• Experience with Cerner is preferred.
• Trauma Level 1 experience is preferred.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Local & travel allowed.
• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Aya Program - IU Health and no current placement allowed at Program: Aya Program - IU Health.
• 12 months gap required between for Per Diem at Program: Aya Program - IU Health and no current placement allowed at Program: Aya Program - IU Health.

Additional Details:
References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.
You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
Required Skills/Experience: Must have L&D experience, as they will be primarily in L&D. PICU, 2 years minimum experience required. Must have Children’s hospital experience within the last 3 years; open to travelers whose experience is from a Level I adult facility. NICU or PICU experience required.
Preferred Skills/Experience: Servo U experience preferred.
Required Credentials: Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program. Education must be accredited by CoARC and regionally accredited by CHEA. NRP required for those placed in L&D.
Special Requests: Local travelers accepted for allied positions; IN residents are considered local. IU Health will not allow IN RNs to work at their facilities. Exceptions include Periop/OR RNs, allied, and ambulatory RN travelers. Periop includes Endo, IR RN, PACU, Cath Lab RN, and SDS.
Unit Details: Neonate, infant, and pediatric patient population.
Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend.
Floating Requirements: Home unit of NICU, PICU, or Peds will be assigned once at the facility and may be changed based on facility needs. May be assigned to PICU, NICU, and Peds, and floating to any of the 3 specialties can occur. May also float to IU Health North Hospital.
5 days maximum time off. Facility holidays: 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 01/01/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 1
2 Manager/Supervisor references required from within the last 3 years

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program – 8th Edition)
