Shift: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Telemetry Float Pool experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years).

• Experience with Cerner is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a California license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

Required Skills/Experience: 2 years experience in tele/stepdown.

Special Requests: Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility.

Unit Details: Common patient population includes ETOH, DKA, heart failure, sepsis, stroke, GI surgery, GU surgery, and joint replacements. RNs are required to titrate drips including insulin, heparin, amiodarone, and cardizem. Monitor techs are available; RNs must read their own strips. Uses GE monitors. Charge nurse/NSM does not take patients. Unit aides are available; ratio varies. Uses CPAP, BiPAP, and high-flow oxygen.

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend. Weekend requirements vary. Holiday requirements vary. No call.

Floating Requirements: This is a float pool position, so they will float to MedSurg and Tele.
