Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Telemetry Unit experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years).

• BSN completion required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Idaho license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - St. Luke’s Health System and no current placement allowed at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - St. Luke’s Health System.

Additional Details:

Resume: Each employment history entry must include detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, and whether it was a teaching facility.

Required Skills/Experience: - Cardiac drip experience required. - NIH stroke assessment experience required. - Post-cath recovery experience required. - Chest tube experience required.

Preferred Skills/Experience: - Experience with TR bands and FemStop devices preferred.

Special Requests: - Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained. - Previous employees may be considered only with St. Luke’s Health System approval. - At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job being applied to.

Unit Details: - Uses Epic, SpaceLab monitors, and Philips monitors. - Common diagnoses include CHF, NSTEMI, STEMI, stroke, sepsis, diabetes, CAD, renal failure, respiratory failure, pneumothorax, and post-cath lab patients. - Cares for post-cath lab patients; will not pull sheaths. - RNs are required to read and interpret telemetry and document every 6 hours. - Commonly sees set-rate diltiazem and amiodarone drips; no epi or nitro on this floor. - Tele techs are on the floor until June, then will centralize off site. - Charge nurse and house supervisor are available and do not take patients. - Nurse aides available at 1:8/9. - CPAP, BiPAP, and high flow are used; RT manages these.

Shift & Scheduling: - Weekends as needed; travelers fill unit needs. - Holidays as needed; travelers fill unit needs. - No call.

Floating Requirements: - First to float; will float to like units and Med/Surg at times. May also float to Boise Medical Center and Nampa Medical Center to like units and Med/Surg if needed. May also float to ICU if experienced.

14 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 3 years

Driver’s license required for submission
