Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Experience:
• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.
• 24 months of Telemetry Unit experience with 12 months worked in the last 6 months.
• 3 months of Cerner experience is preferred.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Arizona license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

Required Skills/Experience: - Must have unit/specialty experience in the past 6 months. - Minimum 2 years of experience - must be recent, within the past 6 months. - Strong cardiac telemetry background required. - Must be able to decrease cardiac drips per physicians’ orders and parameters. - Nurses must be able to read and interpret strips.
Preferred Skills/Experience: - 2 years of strong cardiac telemetry background preferred.
Required Credentials: - You are required to pass a Basic Dysrhythmia/EKG exam. - Must pass a dysrhythmia exam within 48 hours of receiving offer through Relias only, with 2 max attempts. - There is also a pass/fail sim lab on day one of orientation; study guides will be provided with first day instructions.
Special Requests: - Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained. - Cannot have worked at any CommonSpirit location within the last 12 months. - Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility.
Unit Details: - Telemetry position caring for ED hold patients awaiting placement on inpatient units, primarily MS/Tele. - Common titratable drips: Cardizem, Heparin, Amiodarone. - No monitor tech in the ED. - May be asked to help with ED patients including vitals, IV starts, and medication administration. Will not be asked to be primary RN for ED patient assignment.
Shift & Scheduling: - 4 weekend shifts in a 4-week schedule. - Must work 2 of 4 major holidays. - No call required. - Ability to self-schedule; however, this could change from time to time.
Floating Requirements: - First to float. - Would float to Med/Surg/Tele/overflow units and CRMC/MGMC EDs as needed. - ER float positions will require floating between different ER satellite locations in the area. A home base facility will try to be established; however, this may not be the facility the clinician is regularly at. A schedule will be made in advance so the clinician is aware of what location they will be reporting to.
