Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 2 years of Cardiac Cath Lab experience.

• Experience with Meditech is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Hawaii license (required after submission).

Special Requests: Travelers must report to Hilo Employee Health 48-72 hours prior to the assignment start; the appointment will be scheduled there. Travelers must arrive in Hawaii on the Thursday before a Monday start to report to Employee Health on Friday morning. Do not accept the offered start date if you cannot arrive on time.

Shift & Scheduling: Day shifts have varied times; shifts may be 8 or 10 hours. Call is required 1-2 days per week and about every 2-3 weekends; call includes holidays.

Unit Details: Procedures include interventional radiology, vascular, and cardiac cases. Uses Sensis monitoring. Uses Siemens equipment. Demonstrates basic knowledge of diagnostic and interventional cardiology, cardiovascular, and interventional radiology procedures, as well as CT, MRI, ultrasound and nuclear medicine procedures, and maintains a basic understanding of radiology equipment and image processing. Demonstrates appropriate application of specialized skills for patients undergoing angiography, cardiac catheterization, pacemaker and IABP insertion, and hemodynamic monitoring.
