Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 2 years of Cardiac Cath Lab experience.

• Experience with Meditech is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Hawaii license (required after submission).

Special Requests: All travelers must be in Hawaii on the Thursday before a Monday start and must report to the scheduled Hilo Employee Health appointment on Friday, 48-72 hours before the assignment starts. Do not accept the offered start date unless you can be there on time.

Shift & Scheduling: Day shifts have varied times and may be 8 or 10 hours. Call is required 1-2 days per week and approximately every 2-3 weekends; call includes holidays.

Unit Details: Procedures include interventional radiology, vascular, and cardiac procedures. The unit uses Sensis for monitoring and Siemens equipment. The clinician demonstrates basic knowledge of diagnostic and interventional cardiology, cardiovascular, and interventional radiology procedures, as well as a basic understanding of computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging, ultrasound, and nuclear medicine procedures. The clinician demonstrates appropriate application of specialized skills for patients undergoing angiography, cardiac catheterization, pacemaker and intra-aortic balloon pump insertion, and hemodynamic monitoring. The clinician maintains a basic understanding of radiology equipment and image processing, as well as basic knowledge of computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging, ultrasound, and nuclear medicine procedures.
