Medical Surgical Unit - Travel Registered Nurse- $2390 per week.

Experience:
• 12 months of experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years).
• 2 years of Medical Surgical Unit experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years).
• Experience with Epic is required.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a North Dakota license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >60 miles from facility to be submitted.
• 6 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - Sanford Health and no current placement allowed at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - Sanford Health.

Additional Details:
Resume: Each employment history entry must include all the following: detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, teaching facility. References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you’re applying to.
Required Skills/Experience: - 2 year recent MS experience. - Must have experience within a large hospital setting, 250+ beds.
Preferred Skills/Experience: - Cardiac experience highly preferred, but not required.
Special Requests: - Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained. - Must take full 6 months off from any Good Samaritan Society and Marshfield Clinic Health System location as well. - Must disclose previous employment on your resume or elsewhere within the submission for a DNU check.
Unit Details: - Uses Omnicell and Alaris IV pumps. - Nurse-to-patient ratios: 4-5:1 on day shift, 5-6:1 on night shift.
Shift & Scheduling: - Every other weekend and holiday. - They might work 3 weeks days then 3 weeks nights one schedule cycle and the next schedule cycle all days or all nights. All depends on unit needs. - Travelers can self-schedule; however, only the days off listed on the contract are guaranteed, and self-scheduled shifts may be moved to balance the unit. - Schedule balancing is done to avoid frequent flipping between days and nights.
Floating Requirements: - Primary unit will be 6CD, but will be expected to float to any med/surg unit at any of the 3 Sanford Medical Centers in Fargo.
14 days maximum time off
2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 12 months
Driver’s license required for submission
