Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• 18 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 12 months of Telemetry Unit experience with 1 months worked in the last 12 months.

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Wisconsin license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: SimpliFi Program - Advocate Health Midwest and no current placement allowed at Program: SimpliFi Program - Advocate Health Midwest.

• 12 months gap required between for Part-Time at Program: SimpliFi Program - Advocate Health Midwest and no current placement allowed at Program: SimpliFi Program - Advocate Health Midwest.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experiences: - Cardiac gtts (Primacor, Amiodarone, Cardizem, Dobutamine), heparin, lasix and insulin gtt. - Chest tube, traches, telemetry reading, wound care

Preferred Skills/Experience: - Charge RN experience preferred.

Unit Details: - Cares for cath lab, amputation, and pre-surgical patients; patients go to surgery and most do not return unless no intervention was done. Open heart and vascular patients will not return to the unit. - CHF, EP studies, atrial fibrillation and dysrhythmias, Coumadin loading, and cardiac-heart failure patients. - Cardiac drips: Primacor, Amiodarone, Cardizem, Dobutamine, heparin, Lasix, and insulin gtts. - Chest tubes, trachs, telemetry reading, and wound care. - RN ratios: Days/PMs (0700-2330) 1:4-5; overnight (2300-0700) 1:6-8. - Uses Alaris, Pyxis, and GE monitors. - Free parking

Shift & Scheduling: - Every other weekend. - Time off requests up to 7 days. - Overtime only with manager approval. - Holiday expectations: 1 summer and 1 winter. - Cannot work more than 60 hours in a week or 5 consecutive 12 hour shifts.

Floating Requirements: - Floats to all other inpatient areas within scope of practice. - May float to ICU for appropriate Med Surg patient assignments; this is rare. - May float to ED Holding with a 1:4 ratio. - Travelers float first. - Can float at any time during the shift to a comparable floor acuity.

7 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 12 months

1 Manager/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months
